Drill Bits
Diamond Core Drill Bits can be used
on glass, ceramic, marble, plastic or fiberglass. Just
add water for lubrication. Core drill bits have a hollow
center and cut a circular line in the glass to create a hole. This
is different than the 'Blunt Nose' bits above, which have a solid
tip and drill a complete hole in the glass. The shaft of
each core drill is 3/8" or less, for use in standard drills.
For best results, core drills above 1/2" should be used
in a drill press. Core drill bits are available in sizes
from 1/8" to 4".
