Ordering, Shipping & Payment Information

How to place an order

Browse the catalog and note the item code, size and quantity for each piece. Then e-mail your list to sales@ameriglas.com. We confirm availability, your total including shipping, and payment instructions — usually within one business day. Nothing is charged until you approve the order.

Phone orders

AmeriGlas does not take orders over the phone. However, you can e-mail your order and select the “Phone-In Payment Info” option — then call us with your credit card number instead of sending it on-line. See payment by phone or mail.

Payment by phone or mail

Don't want to use your credit card on-line? No problem — when you finalize your order you have several options:

• Place the order and call us with your credit card information.
• Place the order and mail us a check or money order.
• Or mail the order to us directly with your credit card information.

E-mail sales@ameriglas.com and we'll reply with the payment phone number or mailing address for your order.

Security & privacy

Shopping at AmeriGlas is safe. Order processing uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption so your payment information can't be read as it travels over the Internet. Order information is downloaded for processing immediately, and it is not stored on the web site after processing. We do not sell or share customer information — see contact & privacy information.

Shipping & handling — continental USA

AmeriGlas generally ships via UPS ground. UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box, so the shipping address must be a valid street address. Depending on size, weight and destination, some small packages may ship via US Priority Mail when it is economical and faster.

Special boxing charge for sheet glass orders: because of the weight of glass and the special packaging materials, sheet glass orders carry a small boxing charge — .90 for small glass boxes (holds up to 10 small sheets) or .90 for large glass boxes (holds up to 10 large sheets). You choose the boxing type on the glass pages, e.g. cathedral & clear glass.

Shipping / delivery times

AmeriGlas generally ships out orders within 24 hours of receipt. Orders received by 1:00 pm Central time on normal work days ship out that afternoon. Orders received after 1:00 pm may ship the following business day, depending on volume. Orders received on holidays or weekends ship on the next business day. If there is any problem or question on an order, we contact you as soon as possible by e-mail or phone.

Shipping to APO's or FPO's

The US Post Office does not allow UPS delivery to PO boxes, so the only delivery method to APO/FPO addresses is Priority Mail. Post Office rates depend heavily on package weight and can only be determined once the order is packaged — we quote the exact shipping with your order confirmation.

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & US Virgin Islands

The only reasonable delivery method to AK, HI, PR & VI is Priority Mail. Rates depend on the actual package weight and are quoted with your order confirmation.

International shipments

Because of the complexity of international import restrictions and duties, AmeriGlas does not currently ship outside the USA. Many of our international customers ship to relatives or remail services inside the USA — in those cases we ship to the US address and the customer handles onward delivery. Express delivery options

Standard shipping is UPS ground, but we can also ship UPS 3-day, 2-day or 1-day. Because of the weight of most orders, air-freight costs can be significant — we determine the exact cost for your order's size, weight and destination before charging. Ask for express options in your order e-mail.
